About the Utah Arts Festival

The mission of the Utah Arts Festival is to promote the arts and enhance the quality of life in Utah through the production of an annual outdoor, multi-disciplinary event in downtown Salt Lake City. We strive to maintain the highest artistic quality in our production and programming, represent excellence among a range of artistic mediums, and promote an appreciation for fine art while encouraging innovation in the field, and supporting non-traditional, contemporary works.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Utah Arts Festival Foundation is funded by grants, private donations, and program revenue. For additional information about the Festival’s IRS designation or 990 documents, please contact Lisa Sewell, Executive Director at lisa@uaf.org or 801-322-2428.

Performing Arts

The Utah Arts Festival has annually offered art in the traditional exhibit format, giving patrons perspective on the wide array of talent in our state. This year's exhibit features some of the most inspiring and electrifying local artists. The Utah All-State High School Art Show was established by Springville Museum of Art to honor the best high school artists in the state for their talent, creativity, and dedication. A panel of professional artists and arts administrators carefully studied each entry to select the artworks which represents the promise of this young generation.

The exhibition fosters original visual art among Utah teenagers by providing a professional forum for student artists. In partnership with the Utah Division of Arts & Museums Traveling Exhibition Program this exhibition will travel to museums, schools K-12, universities, public libraries, and cultural centers throughout the state.
